- 80 g Swiss cheese
- 45 g cornflakes
- 1 eggs
Video
Instructions
- Crush the cornflakes in a food processor until it becomes powdery. Season with some salt, garlic powder and paprika. Put aside on a plate.
- Mix the chicken breasts in a food processor (no need if it’s already minced) and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika. Divide the mixture in three.
- On a cutting board, place some cling film. Put a portion of minced chicken and form a disc shape. Put another layer of cling film and even the minced chicken with a rolling pin .
- Add the ham and cheese on top of the chicken. Fold the disc in half and seal the edges using the cling film.
- Dip in the beaten egg then in the crushed cornflakes so that it is coated evenly. There goes your first cordon bleu!
- Repeat the same process with the two other pieces.
- Spray with a bit of oil and cook in the air fryer at 180C for 10min ONLY in order to keep that chicken juicy!
Notes
Serve it immediately (if you reheat it, chicken will be dryer) with some sautéed veggies (I like with peas) or salad and enjoy!
