LOW CALORIE APRICOT JAM

Similarly to my mixed berries jam recipe, this apricot jam is healthier as it contains way more less sugar than the store bought ones which usually contain 50% added sugar!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 300 g apricot, frozen or fresh ones but you’ll need to cook them longer to soften them
  • 1 to 2 tbsp chia seed the more you add the thicker it will be
  • monk fruit sweetener to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the frozen apricot in a sauce pan on medium heat until it get soft.
  • Add the chia seed and sweetener of choice.
  • Pour in a glass jar and put in fridge to store.

Notes

I like to add the jam on my yogurt bowl or on a toast with cottage cheese 👌🏽
You can do the same method for any other fruits.
