Ingredients
 

  • 70 g wheat sourdough bread (1 slice)
  • 1 eggs
  • 65 g ham, cooked
  • 80 G cottage cheese, low fat
  • 40 g shredded cheese
  • nutmeg to taste

Instructions

  • Cut your slice of bread in half
  •  On one piece, put 1 slice of ham , then half of the cottage cheese. This will be the bottom of the sandwich.
  •  On the other piece of bread, put the other half of the cottage cheese. This will be the top of the sandwich.
  • Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  •  Add shredded cheese on top of both piece of bread.
  • Bake in the airfryer (or oven) at 200C for 10min , or until cheese is golden 😋 (do check on them regularly to make sure it doesn’t burn or get too dry!)
  •  In the meantime cook your sunny side up egg on a pan.
  • Assemble your croque madame by adding half slice of ham in between both pieces of bread. Lastly add your egg on top of the sandwich. 

Serve with a simple salad and enjoy !
