Ingredients

  • 50 g quinoa dry
  • 1 apple 120 g
  • 200 ml soy milk or your choice of milk
  • cinnamon powder

Instructions

  • Cook the quinoa as per your package instructions. I simmered in boiling water for 15min, or until all the water is absorbed.
  • Dice the apple and stir fry with a bit of butter.
  • Put the quinoa in a bowl and add in a hint of cinnamon powder.
  • Top with the apples cubes, some milk and enjoy!

Notes

Alternatively, you can top with other toppings for a change of flavour (banana and coconut flakes, strawberries and dark chocolate chips...). Be aware that nutritional values will then change.
You can also add a scoop of protein powder to boost your protein intake. If you do, make sure you add it after the quinoa cooking process, when it has cooled down for few minutes, and NOT during the cooking process (otherwise the protein powder will create nasty lumps).
